Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Pookster ("we", "us") about using the Pookster app and website. By using Pookster you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use Pookster

• You must be 18 or over.
• You can explore without an account. Hosting, joining and chatting need one, made with Sign in with Apple.
• Keep your account to yourself, and give true information about who you are.

Community rules

Pookster has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. By creating an account you agree to these terms and rules.

• Be kind and honest.
• No harassment, hate, threats, scams or sexual content.
• Don't impersonate anyone, spam, or use Pookster to sell things people didn't ask for.
• Don't break the law or help anyone else do it.
• Report or block anyone who feels off.

Plans, messages and names are checked for objectionable words before they post. Anything you report is hidden from you right away. We review every report within 24 hours; when content breaks these rules we remove it and remove the account that posted it. We can also cancel plans and suspend or close accounts at any time, with or without warning. Report a problem in the app (Report on any plan, message or person) or email pookster.app@gmail.com.

Meeting people

Pookster helps people make plans and meet in person. We don't run background checks or verify identities beyond Sign in with Apple, and we aren't part of the plans people make. You're responsible for your own safety and choices. Meet in public places, tell a friend where you're going, and leave if something feels wrong. In an emergency, call 911.

Your content

You own what you post: plans, messages, photos and your profile. You give us permission to store, show and process it so the app can work, for example showing your public plans to people nearby. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept for safety reports or required by law. Only post what you have the right to share.

Places, events and suggestions

Place and event details come from Apple Maps, event organizers and other sources. Hours, prices and availability change, so check the official link before you go. Suggestions, including AI suggestions when you turn them on, can be wrong. Use your own judgment. We aren't responsible for third-party places, events, tickets or websites.

Our service

We work to keep Pookster running and safe, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available, error-free or accurate. We may change or stop features. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for what happens between people who meet through the app, and our total liability for any claim is limited to $50.

Ending your account

You can delete your account in Profile at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.

Changes and law

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA.
